At BP Retail, if you have the drive and ambition, you'll be able to develop fast, whether you work in a BP Connect or an M&S Simply Food Store. Thanks to our Internal Management Training Programme, 'Connections', all our people can move rapidly through the ranks, from Customer Service Assistant to Duty, Deputy and then Store Manager.
And it doesn't stop there. Once you've run your own store, you could move on to follow many different career paths. You could become a Territory Manager. Or a Field Trainer. Or a Food Territory Manager. The options are as broad as you'd expect from an innovative global company like BP.
When you start, we'll place you in a training store for eight weeks – which means you'll have the benefit of an experienced manager on hand whilst you get to grips with new systems and find your feet. BP also provides you with cutting edge, interactive E-Learning, which hosts a suite of courses that will provide you with the legal know-how to do your job. Finally, you will get regular reviews to check your progress, which will be supported by one to one coaching from a Field Trainer.
